展覧会について

1：webを展示空間とするのではなく，素材として用いること．

2：単なるwebツール/webサービス(道具)を作らないこと．目的のない，且つ合目的な道具を作る．

redundant web展は，アーティストラン・スペース"kiviak"の企画によるweb上での展覧会です．本展覧会は，html,css,javascript,flashなど様々なwebに関する技術の，本来の使用からは溢れる余剰な意味や目的を，制作の素材/言語として作品を制作することをねらいとした展覧会です．参加する9人のアーティストは，web上で閲覧できる作品であることと，上記2点の規定に基づいた作品を制作し，出品します．これらの作品がweb上での表現と，その批評の可能性へと開かれていく事を期待しています．

2. Not making simple web tools and web service instruments. Making tools with or without purpose.

The Redundant Web Exhibition is an artist run space authored by the Kiviak Project to exhibit art on the Internet. The aim of the exhibition is to use html, css, javascript, flash and various other web-related techniques to create a surplus of meanings and purposes that we can apply as language and material to our artwork. Nine artists will present work that incorporates the above two principles. We soon hope to allow the possibility of comments.
